Mothers Union

We meet the first Thursday of each month at 2.30pm, usually in the Church as it suits ours numbers better.

We have four services in the church during the year, three being Holy Communion which are usually led by Mary, and in December we have a Carol Service followed by a Christmas lunch.

During the year we have guest speakers, on subjects from being the wife of the Dean of York Minster to World thinking day.

Some of our meetings cover subjects that we feel will interest other people so these we open to non-members.

In the last couple of years we have held a raffle at our meetings to raise money for the work of the MU. This year we have given money to the MU Parenting Course and The Women's Refuge.

Our members number about thirty, we welcome new members; why not come along and see more of what we do?
