We are a happy friendly group and look forward to welcoming you and your little ones up to school age. Come and meet other parents and carers while your little ones play, have fun and learn to socialise. We have a wide variety of toys for your children to enjoy, and a book library where you can borrow a book to read at home. We look forward to chatting with you and telling you what is happening on your first afternoon and any forth coming activities. On the second Wednesday of the month we also have a short child friendly gathering in the church to sing action songs and hear a story, followed by play and snack back in the hall after. All Welcome.
We ask for 50p per session to help cover our costs which include snack time and our activities.
Our group was started over 40 years ago as a response to the need for a group where mums could go with their children and meet new friends and has been meeting ever since. We welcome you any Wednesday during term time.
Come and meet new friends with little ones like yours, or bring a friend along with children up to school age too.
Angela and I have been involved in the group for many years and look forward to greeting you and telling you about the sort of things you might expect. On the first week you will also be given a new member’s letter giving you information about our group and contact numbers should you need them.
